This particular double spread included in the "Festive" edition of Coastal Life, was designed for the Community Life section of the magazine. The story features a Christmas narrative about a family that lived on the quite isolated Big Fish Island in Nova Scotia. Unfortunately, the images that I received were quite poor quality, so I deigned a festive collage based upon one of the pictures of the lighthouse. Photoshop was used to create the image and then it was imported into Adobe InDesign to create quite a nice background to the story.
